The scheme “Printing and Free Distribution of Sanskrit Textbooks” is implemented by the Directorate of Sanskrit Education under the Department of Sanskrit Education, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to promote Sanskrit education by providing free Sanskrit textbooks to students studying in Classes 1 to 12.

Application Process

  • The application of the concerned student is first forwarded/recommended by the school principal and then further recommended by the Assistant Director of the respective district.
  • Required documents include the student’s Aadhaar card and bank account details.
  • For students studying in the same class during the same session, the student or their guardian can apply online through the Aapni Sarkar portal.
