The scheme offers tuition fee support for students studying from 6th to 10th standard in English medium schools. For students in 6th to 8th standard, the tuition fee is Rs. 200 at the rate of Rs. 20 per month for 10 months. For students in 9th and 10th standard, the tuition fee is Rs. 250 at the rate of Rs. 25 per month for 10 months. Additionally, the examination fee is fully sanctioned for 10th standard students. The scheme has specific eligibility criteria for Backward Classes students, including a parental income limit of Rs. 1,00,000 and the condition that no graduate should be present in the family. For Most Backward Classes and Denotified Communities students, there are no such conditions.
