The Pre-Matric Scholarship is designed for students from Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) studying in Government and Aided Primary schools from Standard 1 to 10. The scholarship amounts are as follows: Boys from Standard 1 to 8 receive ₹750, while boys from Standard 9 to 10 receive ₹1000. For girls, those in Standard 1 to 5 receive ₹500, and those in Standard 6 to 10 receive ₹1000. There is no income limit for students in Standards 1 to 8, but for those in Standards 9 to 10, the family income limit is set at ₹600,000.
