The Pre-Matric Scholarship for the Students of Minority Castes provides financial assistance to students from minority communities studying in Government and Aided Primary schools from Standard 1 to 10. Boys in Standards 1 to 8 receive a scholarship of ₹750, while boys in Standards 9 to 10 receive ₹1000. For girls, those in Standards 1 to 5 receive ₹500, and those in Standards 6 to 10 receive ₹1000. There is no income limit for students in Standards 1 to 8, but for those in Standards 9 to 10, the family income limit is set at ₹6,00,000.
