The Pre-Matric Scholarship for Economically Backward Class students provides financial assistance to students from Std. 1 to 10 who are studying in Government and Aided Primary schools. The scholarship amounts vary based on the student's grade and gender: Boys in Std. 1 to 8 receive ₹750, while Boys in Std. 9-10 receive ₹1000. For Girls, those in Std. 1 to 5 receive ₹500, and those in Std. 6 to 10 receive ₹1000. There is no income limit for students in Std. 1 to 8, but for students in Std. 9-10, the family income limit is set at ₹600,000.
