This scholarship is provided to students from the Other Backward Class (OBC) who are regularly studying in classes 6 to 10. Eligible students must belong to the OBC category, be enrolled in schools run by the central government, state government, or municipalities, or in schools recognized by the education department. The annual income of the student's parents or guardian should not exceed ₹2.5 lakh. Students who are receiving any other scholarship or financial assistance from central or state government sources are not eligible. Additionally, students must not have failed in the previous academic year. If a student fails in any examination, their scholarship will be suspended, but if they pass in the subsequent examination, they will be eligible for the scholarship in the next academic session. Students must reapply for the scholarship each year. The scholarship amount is ₹100 per month for a maximum of 10 months.
