Details

This scholarship is provided to children studying regularly in classes 1 to 10 whose parents or guardians are engaged in unclean and hazardous occupations. The scheme aims to support these students in their educational pursuits.

  • One-time grant of ₹750per year for day scholars

Eligibility

  1. The student must be a child of parents/guardians engaged in unclean and hazardous occupations.
  2. The student must be studying regularly in classes 1 to 10 in schools run by the central government, state government, or municipalities, or in schools recognized by the education department.
  3. The student should not be receiving any other scholarship or allowance from central or state government sources.
  4. The student must not have failed in the previous academic year. If the student fails in any examination, the scholarship will be suspended, but if they pass in the subsequent examination, they will be eligible for the scholarship in the next academic year.
