Details

This scheme provides scholarships to students studying in classes 1 to 8 who are children of individuals engaged in sanitation and health hazardous occupations. The scheme has been in effect since February 25, 1994, with amendments made on April 1, 2003.

Benefits

  • - Monthly scholarship of ₹110for students in classes 1 to 8 for 10 months and a one-time grant of ₹750
  • Monthly scholarship of ₹700for hostel students in classes 3 to 8 for 10 months and a one-time grant of ₹1000
