Details

The Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar organized by The Ministry of Women and Child Development Government of India has conferred the award to children for their exceptional achievement. This award is the highest civilian honor for children in India. It is awarded annually to children in the age group of 5-18 years for their exceptional abilities and outstanding achievements in seven categories:

  • Art & Culture
  • Environment
  • Innovation
  • Science & Technology
  • Social Service
  • Sports

Ceremony Details

  1. The Awards to be announced on December 26 on ‘Veer Bal Diwas’.
  2. The awards will be conferred by H.E., President of India at New Delhi at a special ceremony/function to be held in January every year.
  3. Number of Award will be 25, however, any relaxation to this maximum number may be permitted at the discretion of the National Selection Committee.

Eligibility

  1. A child should be an Indian Citizen.
  2. A child above the age of 5 years and not exceeding 18 years (as of 31st July of respective year).
  3. The act/incident/achievement should have been within 2 years of the last date of receipt of application/nomination for the year of consideration.
  4. The child must have made outstanding contributions in any of the seven categories specified above

Step-2: Click on the Registration button.

Step-3: Choose type Individual or Organization.

Step-4.1: Under Individual category provide the following details.

           - Name as per Aadhaar/Valid Identity Proof.
           - Date of Birth.
           - Nominator/Applicant Type.
           - Mobile No.
           - Email ID.
           - Aadhaar Number.

Step-4.2: Under Organization category provide the following details.

           - Type of Organization.
           - Name of the Authorized Person as per Aadhaar/Valid Identity Proof
           - Date of Birth.
           - Brief Description about the Organization (100 Words)
           - Designation
           - Mobile No.
           - Email ID.
           - Aadhaar Number.

Step-5: Submit.
