- MSP Support: Fixation and procurement of non-nationalised, non-timber Minor Forest Produce (MFPs) to ensure a fair price to tribal gatherers. - Infrastructure Development: Creation and development of Haat Bazars, storage godowns, and other facilities, including special projects for tribal trade and storage. - Value Addition: Support for processing and value addition to various MFPs, non-MFPs, and other tribal produce/products to enhance income. - Enterprise Creation: Establishment of Van Dhan Vikas Kendras (VDVKs) and Van Dhan Producer Enterprises (VDPEs) for organised tribal business activities. - Marketing Support: Facilitation of sale and purchase of products made by VDVKs/VDPEs and other tribal products such as handloom and handicrafts. - Branding & Promotion: Advertisement, branding, and promotion of tribal products through participation in festivals, exhibitions, tribal artisan melas, and Mahotsavas. - Skill & Entrepreneurship Development: Training and capacity building for tribal beneficiaries to develop skills and entrepreneurial capabilities. - Geo-Tagging of Assets: Geo-tagging of VDVKs, VDPEs, and other assets created under the scheme for better monitoring and tracking. - Geographical Indication Support: Promotion and support for Geographical Indication (GI) tagging of tribal produce/products. - IT & E-Commerce Development: Building and upgradation of IT infrastructure, e-commerce platforms, and digitisation of operations. - Beneficiary Survey: Conducting surveys for the identification, assessment, and monitoring of beneficiaries. - Research & Development: Support for research and development activities to improve tribal products and processes.
