Eligibility
General Eligibility
- The village must have at least 50% Scheduled Tribe (ST) population.
- The village must have a population of at least 500 in plain areas; 250 in hilly/tribal areas.
- The village must be selected by the State/UT Government based on criteria defined in the guidelines.
Preference / Priority
- Preference is given to villages with higher ST population concentration.
- Priority is given to villages with significant infrastructure gaps.
