Details

The “Post-Matric Scholarship for Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) Students-Bihar” is designed to support students from disadvantaged communities by covering their educational expenses for post-secondary courses. The scholarship is intended for students belonging to Schedule Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST). This initiative promotes access to higher education and helps reduce the financial burden on families from these communities.

  • - Scholarship and maintenance allowance will be payable on the basis of the criteria prescribed in the resolution issued by the Government of India from time to time

Eligibility

  1. The applicant should be a permanent resident of Bihar state.
  2. The caste of the applicant should be included in the list of Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) issued by the state government.
  3. The applicant should be studying in higher classes after passing the Matriculation/Entry Examination.
  4. The family’s annual income must not exceed ₹3,00,000/-.

Exclusions

  • After passing one level course, studying in another equivalent course will not be entitled to scholarship, for example, after passing I.S.C. examination, studying in I.A., after passing B.A. examination, studying in B.Com. and after doing M.Sc., studying in M.A. class will not be given scholarship.

Step 2: Click on “New Students Registration”.
Step 3: Verify your Aadhaar details and mobile number.

Login:

Step 1: Visit the official Post-Matric Scholarship Portal.
Step 2: Click on “Login For Already Registered Students”. Log in using the required credentials.
Step 3: After getting the applied scholarship details, enter personal details, mobile verification and bank account details. Also, it will be mandatory to enter the details of the institute, course and certificates correctly.
Step 4: Verify all details and submit the application.
Step 5: Download and print the submitted application for future reference.
