Launched in 1976-77, the "Post Matric College Scholarship" is a scheme by the Scheduled Caste Welfare Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh. The scheme provides financial assistance to encourage Scheduled Caste students to pursue higher education. One-third of the subsistence allowance is payable to students residing in departmental hostels who are provided free lodging and boarding facilities.

Eligibility

Exclusions

  1. Non-Govt Institutions: Students whose parents' income exceeds ₹2.50 lakh are not eligible for the subsistence allowance.
  2. Govt Institutions: Students with an income above ₹2.50 lakh are not eligible for the subsistence allowance but are eligible for full fee reimbursement.
  3. Sambal Yojana Families: Students from Sambal Yojana families do not have to pay fees at government schools and are not eligible for fee reimbursement.

Step1: Go to the official State Scholarship Portal 2.0 for Madhya Pradesh.
Step2: Scroll down the page and find the "Student Corner" section on the left side of the screen.
Step3: Under the Student Corner, click on the “Student Registration” option.
Step4: Complete the online registration form by filling in all mandatory fields and uploading the required documents in the specified format and size.
Step5: Carefully review the details entered and the documents uploaded. Once you have verified everything, click on the "Submit" button.
Step6: After submitting, you will receive your registration number on the registered email address or mobile number.

Application Process:
Step1: Go to the State Scholarship Portal 2.0 for Madhya Pradesh.
Step2: Scroll down to the "Student Corner" section on the left and click on "Student Login." Enter your User ID and Password to log in.
Step3: After logging in, a dashboard will appear in front of you. From your dashboard, select the scheme you wish to apply for and click on it.
Step4: Complete the application form by filling in all required fields and uploading necessary documents in the specified format and size.
Step5: Double-check the information and documents provided, then click on the "Submit" button to submit your application.
