PMMSY: Construction of Fish Retail Markets including Ornamental Fish/Aquarium Markets - Haryana

The scheme "Pradhan Mantri Matasya Sampada Yojana: Construction of Fish Retail Markets including Ornamental Fish/Aquarium Markets" by the Ministry Of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Government of India, aims to support the construction of fish retail markets, including those for ornamental fish and aquariums. Through this scheme, financial assistance for project costs is provided to individual beneficiaries.

The scheme provides a subsidy for the construction of fish retail markets, including ornamental fish or aquarium markets. The project cost is ₹1,00,00,000/- per unit.
The subsidy provided is:

• 40% of the project cost is for beneficiaries belonging to the General Category.
• 60% of the project cost is for beneficiaries belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) or Women categories.

1. The applicant must have a Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP).
2. The applicant must submit an undertaking in the Detailed Project Report (DPR)/Self-Contained Proposal (SCP) stating that all operational, maintenance, and post-construction management costs of the infrastructure facilities will be borne by them.
3. The applicant must commit to keeping the fish market in operational condition for 10 years.
4. The applicant must agree to permanently display a board at the infrastructure facility indicating that the fish market was constructed with Central Assistance under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY).
5. Central assistance will be restricted to one unit per individual beneficiary.
6. Projects with land on a long-term registered lease will also be considered for Central financial assistance. The registered lease period or agreement must not be less than a minimum period of 10 years.

Registration Process on Antyodaya-SARAL Portal:

Step 1: Visit the Official Portal: Antyodaya-SARAL Portal.
Step 2: For registration, click on “New User/Register Here” and fill in all the mandatory details, i.e. Name, Email ID, Mobile Number & password. Click on ‘Submit’.
Step 3: Verify the OTP received in the provided Email and Mobile Number. Alternatively, click on the Verification Link to activate the profile.

Login to Apply for the Scheme:

Step 1: Visit the Official Portal: Antyodaya-SARAL Portal.
Step 2: The “Sign in here” option is available on the right side of the screen. Fill in the required credentials and click on the ‘Login’ button.
Step 3: In the opened window, click on “Scheme/Services list”, and a list of schemes will appear on the screen.
Step 4: Now, select the scheme and click on “Apply for Service/Scheme”.
Step 5: Fill in all the details in the online application form and click on "Submit".
