Details

The Government of India has named the midday meal scheme as PM POSHAN Shakti Nirman Yojana. It has been approved to extend the scheme for another 5 years from 2021-22 to 2025-26 as a centrally awarded scheme. The expenditure for this scheme is shared between the Government of India and the State Governments in the ratio of 60:40.
