The PM Formalization of Micro Food Processing Enterprise (PMFME) Scheme aims to enhance access to credit for existing micro food processing entrepreneurs, Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), Self Help Groups, and Co-operatives. It focuses on integrating these enterprises into an organized supply chain by strengthening branding and marketing efforts. The scheme supports the transition of 200,000 existing enterprises into a formal framework and provides increased access to common services such as processing facilities, laboratories, storage, packaging, marketing, and incubation services. Additionally, it aims to strengthen institutions, research, and training in the food processing sector while providing professional and technical support to enterprises. Eligible enterprises must be unincorporated and employ fewer than 10 workers, with the applicant holding ownership rights. The applicant must be at least 18 years old.

Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Own an unincorporated enterprise employing less than 10 workers.
- Have ownership status as a proprietary or partnership firm.
