The Planning for Best Livestock Keeper's Award function aims to recognize and reward outstanding livestock keepers at the taluka, district, and state levels. Awards for taluka winners will be presented during the District Pashu Palan Shibir. State and district level awards will be distributed at organized functions in any of the three regions. Beneficiaries must apply online through the i-khedut portal and submit a printed application to the ICDP offices. The awards are given once every three years.

  • Total Awards: 565 (496 taluka + 66 district + 3 state)
  • Taluka level Award: 1st prize Rs. 20,000, 2nd prize Rs. 10,000 (Total 496 awards across 248 talukas)
  • District level Award: 1st prize Rs. 25,000, 2nd prize Rs. 20,000 (Total 66 awards across 33 districts)
