Details
The Pannadhay Bal Gopal Yojana, also known as the Chief Minister's Bal Gopal Yojana, provides powdered milk to students in government schools, madrasas, and special training centers in Rajasthan. The milk is prepared from powdered milk and is supplied in designated packaging by the Rajasthan Cooperative Federation Limited (RCDF). Students from classes 1 to 8 receive milk in specified quantities after the morning assembly. The responsibility for providing milk lies with the School Management Committee (SMC), which ensures that a teacher and a parent taste the milk before it is distributed. This initiative aims to increase enrollment and attendance, reduce dropout rates, and improve the nutritional levels of students, fulfilling their macro and micro nutrient needs. Approximately 6.856 million students from classes 1 to 8 are receiving milk after the morning assembly.
