- The applicant must be a resident of Gujarat.
- The applicant must be between 12 to 19 years of age or between 20 to 35 years of age.
- The applicant must be a classical music artist.
- The applicant must specialize in singing, vocal performance, or percussion instruments.

Application Process
Offline
Step 1: Visit the official website of 'Mari Yojana' at https://mariyojana.gujarat.gov.in.
In the search bar provided at the top of the page, type 'Competition'. All the schemes of the Government of Gujarat having the word 'Competition' will be listed.
Step 2: From the list, click on the scheme 'Solo Drama Competition'. You will be taken to the schemes page. Navigate and download the application form of the scheme. The application form is available in both Gujarati and English languages, and the applicant should take print of the form in their preferred language.
Step 3: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, paste the passport-sized photograph (signed across, if required), and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).
Step 4: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents, within the prescribed period (if any), to the designated authority at the Gujarat State Sangeet Natak Academy.
Step 5: After successful submission, the applicant will receive an acknowledgement or reference number. The applicant should save this reference number for future correspondence and tracking of the application status.
