The scheme “Paalna Ghar (Crèche)” is implemented by the Women Welfare Department, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to provide day care facilities for children aged 6 months to 6 years of working couples.
Benefits
- Under the scheme, a crèche is run for the children of working couples, providing day care facilities for children in the age group of 6 months to 6 years. The following fees are applicable under the scheme:
- For BPL families: ₹20/- per child per month
- For families with an income less than ₹12,000/-: ₹100/- per child per month
- For families with an income above ₹12,000/-: ₹200/- per child per month
