The “Nishulk Ganavesh Yojana” is a scheme under the Samagra Shiksha Programme, implemented by the Secondary Education Department, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to provide free uniforms to all girl students studying in Classes 1 to 8 of government and government-aided schools, as well as to all boys belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, and boys from the General category who fall under the Below Poverty Line category.

- Under this scheme two sets of uniforms per student are provided through DBT/SMC to students studying in classes 1 to 8 of government and government-aided schools covering all girls all boys belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe categories and boys from the General category belonging to BPL families

Eligibility
- The applicant must be a resident of Uttarakhand.
- The applicant must be either a girl student, or a boy student belonging to the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, or General Category BPL family.
- The applicant must be studying in Classes 1 to 8.

There is no selection process; all eligible students from Classes 1 to 8 are provided free uniforms or the corresponding financial assistance.
