Eligibility
- Construction workers between 18 to 60 years of age will be eligible.
- The construction worker should be registered as a beneficiary under Section 12 of the Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Service Conditions) Act, 1996.
- Death caused by suicide or consumption of drugs, substances or by committing a crime or death caused by physical violence committed with intent in violation of law and death due to riots, assistance amount was not provided.
- The benefit of the scheme will be given only on the death of the registered worker and not on the death of the family member.
