Nihshaktajan Vivaah Protsaahan Yojana
Launched in 2008 by the Madhya Pradesh State Government, the Nihshaktajan Vivaah Protsaahan Yojana provides financial assistance to differently abled individuals for marriage. "Nihshaktajan Vivaah Protsaahan Yojana" started by the Madhya Pradesh government is going to prove to be a very useful scheme for the disabled people of the state because the state government will provide financial assistance amount for the people who are differently abled. This scheme has been started to encourage disabled people to marriage and to ensure social rehabilitation of disabled people.
Benefits
- 1. In the case of a disabled youth marrying a normal girl and in the case of a disabled girl marrying a normal youth the incentive amount is Rs. 2 00 000/- 1. In case of disability of both the young man and the woman jointly Rs. 1 00 000/- incentive amount is provided
- In the case of a disabled youth marrying a normal girl and in the case of a disabled girl marrying a normal youth, the incentive amount is Rs. 2,00,000/-
- In case of disability of both the young man and the woman, jointly Rs. 1,00,000/- incentive amount is provided.
Eligibility
- The Applicants should have a disability of 40% or more.
- The applicant should be a native of Madhya Pradesh.
- The minimum age of male applicants should be 21 years and female applicants should be 18 years.
- The marriage should have been solemnized by religious custom/ social custom or legally prescribed by the competent court.
- The applicant should not be an income taxpayer.
- In order to get the benefits, one of the disabled couples will have to apply within a period of one year after the completion of the marriage, otherwise, they will not be eligible to get the benefits.

- Attach the required documents.
- Submit the application to the office of the Joint Director/Deputy Director of Social Justice and Disabled Welfare or District Panchayat.
