The New CHARKHA Looms Scheme aims to encourage the new generation to engage in the Khadi sector and create new employment opportunities. The scheme provides new charkhas and shawls through organizations recognized by the Gramodhog Aayog (Government of India), with some financial assistance from the state government.

Eligibility
Open to all families, regardless of income, profession, education, or social and economic standards.

- Obtain the application form on plain paper.
- Attach required documents: Aadhar Card and Bank Pass Book/Cancelled Cheque.
- Submit the application to the Gujarat Rajya Khadi Gram Udyog Board at Near Red Cross lab., Ashram Road, Juna Vadaj/Old Wadaj, Ahmedabad - 380013.
