Details

The National Oral Health Program (NOHP) aims to improve the determinants of oral health, such as promoting a healthy diet and enhancing oral hygiene. It seeks to reduce disparities in oral health accessibility between rural and urban populations and decrease morbidity from oral diseases by strengthening oral health services at sub-district and district hospitals. The program integrates oral health promotion and preventive services with the general healthcare system and other sectors influencing oral health, including various National Health Programs. It also promotes Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) to achieve public health goals.
