Details
The National Family Benefit Scheme is designed to provide financial assistance to families facing sudden hardship due to the natural or accidental death of the breadwinner, whether male or female. Families with a poverty line score between 0 and 20 are eligible for this benefit if the deceased was aged between 18 and 60 years. Applications must be submitted within two years of the breadwinner's death. Upon the death of the main earner, the family receives a one-time payment of Rs. 20,000, which is disbursed through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

Eligibility
Families with a poverty line score of 0 to 20 are eligible if the breadwinner (male or female) dies due to natural or accidental causes. The deceased must be aged between 18 and 60 years. Applications must be made within 2 years of death.
Application Process

- Gather required documents: Aadhar Card, Age Proof, Bank Pass Book/Cancelled Cheque, Death Certificate, Identity Card, Passport Size Photos, Ration Card.
- Obtain the application form from the Mamlatdar office or the Digital Gujarat Portal.
- Submit the completed application form to the Mamlatdar office or VCE.
