Eligibility
- The applicant should have made significant contributions to Ayurveda through promotion, teaching, research, policy planning, or integration in national health programs at the national or international level.
- The applicant should be a renowned Ayurvedic practitioner with a minimum of 20 years of professional experience.
- The applicant must be at least 40 years of age.
- The applicant must hold a recognized degree in Ayurveda as per the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine Act, 2020, or the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970.
- Past recipients of the award are not eligible to receive the same award again.
