Details
The National CSR Awards, instituted by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, aim to recognize companies that have made a positive impact on society through innovative and sustainable Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. These awards represent the highest recognition for CSR excellence in India.
The objectives of the awards are:
- To increase competition in various categories of companies to infuse excellence in their CSR activities
- To encourage companies to spend the entire amount i.e, eligible CSR spend;
- To recognize the impact, innovation, usage of technology, gender and environment issues, sustainability, scalability, and replicability of CSR activities; and
- To channelize CSR activities of corporates so that the benefits of their activities reach the marginalized sections of society and in remote areas of the country.
Under National CSR Awards there are three main categories as under:- - Corporate Awards for Excellence in CSR
- CSR Awards for CSR in Aspirational Districts/Difficult Terrains
- CSR Awards for contribution in National Priority Areas

Eligibility
- The applicant should be a company registered under the Companies Act, 1956 or 2013 and must comply with Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013.
- The CSR project and related expenditure should pertain to the specified financial years.
- The impact of the CSR project/programme should be demonstrated based on the required reporting period as per submitted details.

Registration:
Step 1: Visit the official website and click on the Registration button.
Step 2: Select your category: Individual or Organization.
Step 3: Fill in the required details:
Individual: Name, Date of Birth, Nominator Type, Mobile, Email, Aadhaar Number.
Organization: Type, Authorized Person Name, Date of Birth, Organization Description, Designation, Mobile, Email, Aadhaar Number.
Step 4: Click Submit to complete registration.
Apply:
Step 1: Log in to the portal using your registered credentials.
Step 2: Select the scheme from the list of awards and click "Nominate / Apply Now".
Step 3: Fill in all mandatory fields in the online application form.
Step 4: Click Submit to complete your application.
