Details
The Namoshree Yojana aims to provide enhanced nutritional support to pregnant women, improve their health, and significantly reduce maternal and child mortality rates. The government has decided to increase the existing maximum support to pregnant women to better converge various schemes and enhance their capacity.
Benefits
- - Rs. 7,000 in 4 installments for the first delivery
- Rs. 6,000 in 4 installments for the second delivery (if a female child)
- Rs. 12,000 in 4 installments for the second delivery (if a male child)
- Rs. 7,000 in 4 installments for the first delivery.
- Rs. 6,000 in 4 installments for the second delivery (if a female child).
- Rs. 12,000 in 4 installments for the second delivery (if a male child).
Eligibility
Eligible applicants include:
- Female
- Any profession
- Holders of E-Shram Card (Unorganised Labour)
- Pregnant and lactating women
- Pregnant women from BPL families
- SC and ST persons
- Physically disabled individuals (with >40% disability)
Exclusions: Schedule Castes and E-nirman card holders.
Exclusions

To apply, contact your female health worker for the application form. Required attachments include:
- Caste Certificate
- Certificate of Income in the prescribed format (Annexure-II of the Resolution)
- Copy of E-Shram Card.
