• Under this scheme an amount of Rs. 6000/- will be transferred annually in three equal instalments
• Government Resolution No Kisani-2023/CR 42/11 A dated 15/06/2023 has been issued regarding the scheme.
• Farmers which are eligible for PM Kisan Yojana will be eligible for the benefit of "Namo Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi Yojana"

  • 1) Eligible Farmers families as per PM KISAN will be Benefited Rs. 2000/- per Instalment. 2) The beneficiaries benefited in PM KISAN will get the benefit of NSMNY. 3) The NSMNY beneficiaries will be benefited from the list provided by GoI. 4) First instalment of NSMNY is given as per the list of 14th instalment of PMKISAN. 5) Eligible farmers family will get Rs. 2000/- from PMKISAN & NSMNY at each instalment. 6) Eligible farmers will get Rs. 12,000/- in a year from both PM KISAN & NSMNY schems. 7) Farmers will be benefited through DBT. 8) The benefit of the NSMNY will be credited only in Aadhar linked bank accounts. 9) The benefit credited to the ineligibles in NSMNY will be recovered as per the SoP of PMKISAN

Eligibility

Cultivable land holding farmers families (comprising of husband, wife and minor children) having land holding on dated 01.02.2019 are eligible for both PM KISAN & NSMNY scheme.

Exclusions

The following categories of beneficiaries of higher economic status shall not be eligible for benefit under the scheme:
(a) All Institutional Land holders; and
(b) Farmer families in which one or more of its members belong to following categories:

  • Former and present holders of constitutional post.
  • Former and present Ministers/ State Ministers and former/present Members of Lok Sabha/ Rajya Sabha/ State Legislative Assemblies/ State Legislative Councils, former and present Mayors of Municipal Corporations, former and present Chairpersons of District Panchayats.
  • All serving or retired officers and employees of Central/ State Government Ministries /Offices/Departments and its field units Central or State PSEs and Attached offices /Autonomous Institutions under Government as well as regular employees of the Local Bodies (Excluding Multi-Tasking Staff / Class IV/Group D employees).
  • All superannuated/retired pensioners whose monthly pension is Rs.10,000/-or more (Excluding Multi Tasking Staff / Class IV/Group D employees.
  • All Persons who paid Income Tax in last assessment year.
  • Professionals like Doctors, Engineers, Lawyers, Chartered Accountants, and Architects registered with Professional bodies and carrying out profession by undertaking practices.
  • Non-Resident Indians (NRIs)

It might happen that the farmer has already registered himself on the PM-KISAN portal via self-registration mode. In such cases, you may check if the farmer has self-registered under the "Status of Self- Registration/CSC Farmers" on the home page of PM-KISAN Portal in the Farmer's Corner section.

A farmer has been wrongly rejected due to some errors in the application. I am not able to register the farmer via direct data entry on PM-KISAN portal. How do I proceed?

In such cases, the farmer must edit/update/re-submit his application via "Updation of Self-Registration" window in the Farmer's Corner on the PM-KISAN Portal. If farmer is registered through CSC, farmer has to contact nearby CSC centre for updation. Once re-submitted/edited, the farmer application will again be sent to the State for approval/validation.

A farmer has wrongly entered some details during self-registration via CSC. When the farmer tries to edit the application, the record is not available. How to proceed?

The record will be available for correction on the same user id via which the farmer was registered. Hence, a farmer who has registered via CSC - A, cannot go for editing his application to CSC - B.

Is it mandatory for a farmer to enter the land records details to register under PM-KISAN?

Yes, the land record details are mandatory for a farmer to register himself under PM-KISAN. Without entering the land records details, the farmer will not be able to submit his application on the portal.
