The scheme "Mukhyamantri Yuba Yogayog Yojana-Special" by the Directorate of Information Technology, Government of Tripura, aims to digitally empower students and help them leverage the advantages of an interconnected world. Through this scheme, a grant or the cost of the phone, whichever is lower, is provided for the purchase of a smartphone to students who pursued a final-year undergraduate degree in Government Institutes in Tripura. The Directorate of Information Technology is responsible for implementing the scheme.
Objective:
The need for a Smart Phone in this digitally connected world cannot be over emphasised. The Smart Phone is helpful in opening up huge opportunities for developing skills, finding resources to enhance knowledge and availing employment opportunities. Providing a grant for the purchase of smart phones to the students of the final year will empower them digitally and help them leverage the advantages of an interconnected world.
Benefits
- 1. Eligible students receive a grant of ₹5 000/- or the cost of the phone whichever is lower for the purchase of a smartphone. Mode of Disbursement: The grant is credited directly to the eligible applicant& 39;s registered bank account using the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode. Expected Time of Disbursement: The payment processing by the State Level Authority is expected to take place from the launch date of the scheme to 2 months after. Frequency of Disbursement: The benefit can be availed once in a lifetime

Eligibility
- The applicant must belong to Tripura and be registered in a Tripura Ration Card.
- The applicant must have pursued a final year undergraduate degree course during the academic year 2022-23.
- The course must have been from a Government College/Institute/University in Tripura.
- The phone must be purchased on or after July 1, 2022.
- The phone must be purchased in the name of the applicant or their parents.
- The applicant must have passed the previous academic year or semester before the final year.

Application Process
Online
Step 1: Visit the Beneficiary Management System (BMS) portal and click the "Citizen" link.
Step 2: Click on "Beneficiary Schemes" to see the available schemes.
Step 3: Find "Mukhyamantri Yuba Yogayog Yojana-Special (AY 2022-2023)" from the list and click "Enroll".
Step 4: First-time users must click "New User? Register" and provide their full name, mobile number, and email ID.
Step 5: Enter the One-Time Passwords (OTPs) received on the mobile number and email to complete registration.
Step 6: Log in with the registered email ID or mobile number and the new OTP received.
Step 7: Enter your 12-digit Ration Card number, select your name from the family members list, and fill out your personal and address details.
Step 8: Provide your bank account details, including the bank name, account number, IFSC code, and account holder name.
Step 9: Fill in the scheme-specific information, such as college name, year of study, invoice details (invoice number, date, amount, GSTIN), and phone's IMEI number.
Step 10: Upload all mandatory documents. All documents except the photograph must be in PDF format with a maximum size of 2 MB. The photograph must be an image file (e.g., JPG, JPEG) with a maximum size of 2 MB.
Step 11: Submit the application. An acknowledgement slip will be generated for future reference.
