Details

This scheme provides financial assistance to specially-abled individuals in the state whose annual income, including that of their family, is up to ₹2.00 lakh. Under this scheme, loans of up to ₹5.00 lakh are made available through various banks to help them start their own self-employment. A grant of 50% of the loan amount or a maximum of ₹50,000, whichever is lower, is provided as a subsidy. The eligibility of the applicant will be verified by the District Officer of the Social Justice and Empowerment Department within one month of receiving the application. After verification, the application will be forwarded to the relevant bank for loan approval, and the applicant will be informed about the grant approval after the bank's sanction.

Eligibility

  1. Must be a specially-abled person as per the provisions of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, with a disability percentage of 40% or more.
  2. Must be a permanent resident of Rajasthan.
  3. Age must be between 18 and 55 years.
  4. Family's total annual income must not exceed ₹2.00 lakh.
  5. Must not have previously availed benefits under the kiosk scheme or any other self-employment subsidy scheme.
  6. Must not have any overdue loans from banks, cooperatives, or semi-government institutions.
  7. Must possess a disability certificate and a bank passbook.

Exclusions

Individuals who have previously availed benefits under the kiosk scheme or any other self-employment subsidy scheme are not eligible.

Applications can be submitted through E-Mitra or using the applicant's SSO ID. Applications must be submitted along with the required documents to the Social Justice and Empowerment Department office in the relevant district. The application form can be obtained from the office of the District Collector.
