The scheme "Mukhyamantri Vishesh Yogyajan Swaraozgar Yojana" was launched by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of Rajasthan. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to specially-abled individuals for self-employment. Under this scheme, an amount of ₹5,00,000/- will be made available as a loan to specially-abled individuals in the state whose annual income, including that of their family, is up to ₹2,00,000/-, to help them start their own self-employment. A grant of 50% of the loan amount or a maximum of ₹50,000/-, whichever is less, will be provided.

Eligibility

  • The applicant should be a specially-abled person as per the Persons with Disabilities Act, 1995.
  • The applicant should have a minimum disability of 40% or more.
  • The applicant should be a native of Rajasthan.
  • The applicant should be between 18 and 55 years of age.
  • The annual income of the applicant’s family should not exceed ₹2,00,000/- from all sources.
  • The applicant should not have availed of benefits under any other self-employment subsidy scheme like "Kiyosk Yojana" etc.
  • The applicant should not have any overdue loans from banks, cooperative societies, or government institutions.
  • The applicant should possess a valid disability certificate and passbook.

Application Process

Offline

Application Process:
Step 1: The interested applicant should visit office of the District Social Justice and Empowerment Officer and request a hard copy of the prescribed format of the application form from the staff exclusively entrusted to issue and collect filled-in applications.

Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).
Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents to the District Social Justice and Empowerment Officer.
Step 4: Request a receipt or acknowledgment from the District Social Justice and Empowerment Officer to whom the application has been submitted. Ensure that the receipt contains essential details such as the date and time of submission and a unique identification number (if applicable).
Post-Application Process:
Step 1: The District Officer of the Social Justice and Empowerment Department will verify the applicant's eligibility within one month of receiving the application.
Step 2: Once eligibility is confirmed, the application will be forwarded to the concerned bank for loan approval. After the bank approves the loan as per the applicable rules, the grant will be sanctioned, and the applicant will be informed accordingly.
