Details

Launched in the year 2019-20, this scheme aims to provide financial assistance in the form of grant-linked loans through banks for the establishment or expansion, diversification, or modernization of enterprises (manufacturing, services, and trade) by women, women's self-help groups, or federations of women's self-help groups. Individual women applicants, proprietorship firms, partnership firms, limited liability partnership firms, one-person companies, and private limited companies can receive loans up to a maximum of ₹50 lakh, while self-help group clusters or federations can receive loans up to ₹1 crore. The applicant must contribute 5% of the project cost for proposals up to ₹10 lakh and 10% for proposals exceeding ₹10 lakh. No contribution is required for amounts up to ₹50,000. A loan grant of 25% of the total project cost will be provided. For women from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, widows, divorcees, victims of violence, and those with disabilities, the grant will be 30% of the approved loan amount, with a maximum grant of ₹15 lakh. Loans up to ₹10 lakh do not require collateral security.
