Details
The Mukhyamantri Mangla Pashu Bima Yojana aims to provide financial security and economic empowerment to livestock owners in Rajasthan by insuring their valuable livestock. In the financial year 2024-25, the state government has announced a budget of ₹400 crores to cover the insurance of 5 lakh dairy cows/buffaloes, 5 lakh sheep/goats, and 1 lakh camels. The primary objective is to offer free insurance to livestock owners, protecting them from financial losses due to the death of insured animals. The scheme will cover a total of 21 lakh animals across the state, ensuring equitable distribution of benefits among livestock owners.

Eligibility
• All livestock owners in Rajasthan holding a Jan Aadhaar card are eligible to apply.
• Only tagged animals can be registered for insurance.
• Maximum coverage includes 2 dairy cows or 2 dairy buffaloes, or 1 cow and 1 buffalo, or 10 goats, or 10 sheep, or 1 camel per eligible livestock owner.
• Animals already insured under another scheme are not eligible for this insurance.

Application Process
Online
- Visit the Mukhyamantri Mangla Pashu Bima Yojana website through the SSO E-Mitra application.
- Enter your Jan Aadhaar number and other required details.
- Upload necessary documents such as nominee name, photo with cattle, and Gopal Card if available.
- After submitting the application, you will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number.
- Enter the OTP to complete the registration process.
