The Mukhyamantri Kanyadaan Yojana is a financial assistance scheme aimed at supporting the marriages of daughters from economically weaker sections, including Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and minority families living below the poverty line (BPL). The scheme integrates support for the marriage of daughters of widowed women and provides assistance under the rules established in 2015. Eligible beneficiaries include women with disabilities, women athletes who have won medals in state-level competitions, and guardians of girls benefiting from the Palanhar scheme.

Eligibility

  1. Only residents of Rajasthan can apply.
  2. Applicants must be the parents or guardians of marriageable daughters.
  3. The scheme applies to the marriage of two daughters aged 18 years or older.
  4. All BPL families are eligible.
  5. All Antyodaya families are eligible.
  6. Families holding an Aastha card are eligible.
  7. Widowed women with an annual income not exceeding ₹50,000 are eligible for their daughters' marriage assistance.
  8. Guardians of marriageable daughters whose parents are deceased can apply.
  9. Guardians of marriageable daughters with no living parents and an annual family income not exceeding ₹50,000 can apply.
  10. Daughters who have previously received assistance under other government schemes will also be counted in the maximum limit for this scheme.
