The "Mukhyamantri Hunar Vikas Yojana – Self-Employment/Business" was launched by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of Rajasthan with the objective of providing financial assistance to beneficiary boys and girls under the State Government’s Palanhar Scheme to help them establish their own self-employment ventures or businesses after completing their training. The scheme aims to create employment opportunities and ensure a dignified livelihood for these beneficiaries upon the completion of their training.
Under this scheme, the State Government provides financial assistance to eligible boys and girls in two installments: 60% of the total sanctioned amount is disbursed in the first installment, and the remaining 40% in the second installment. The assistance is specifically for setting up self-employment or business activities related to the training course completed by the beneficiary.
The scheme is implemented by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Rajasthan, at the state level and by the Deputy Director/Assistant Director, Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, at the district level.

Benefits

  • Financial Assistance:
  • Financial assistance up to ₹50,000or the actual/estimated cost, whichever is lower, to establish self-employment/business. Payment Disbursed in Two Installments
  • First Installment: 60% for establishing the necessary shop/location or purchasing equipment, raw materials, etc
  • Second Installment: After establishing, the remaining 40% amount will be paid based on the inspection report by the officer appointed by the District Collector. Mode of Disbursement:
  • The financial assistance is directly deposited into the beneficiary& 39;s bank savings account

Eligibility

  1. The applicant should be a beneficiary under the Palanhar Scheme of Rajasthan.
  2. The applicant should have completed skill training under the scheme.
  3. The applicant’s age should be 21 years or above.
  4. The applicant should be registered their business through Udyam Aadhaar Portal is required for self-employment assistance.

Application Process

Offline

Step 1: The interested applicant downloads the application form from the official website.
Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).
Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents to the District Officer, Social Justice and Empowerment Department.
Step 4: The District Officer, Social Justice and Empowerment Department, will examine the application and issue administrative and financial approval within a maximum of one month.
