Application Process

Offline

  • The application form can be obtained from the officers or personnel working at the Horticulture Mobile team Centres. It can also be downloaded from the department's website: https://shm.uk.gov.in. The application should be submitted approximately two months before planting saplings or applying medicines. - Along with the application form, the following documents are required: land-related documents such as Khasra and Khatauni; for leased land, a lease certificate; and identification documents including Aadhar card, PAN card, Udhyan card, as well as bank account details and mobile number. Currently, the application process is offline.
  • The farmer must submit the completed application form along with the required documents to the Horticulture Mobile team Centre. The proposal should be submitted in the prescribed format of the application form. If the farmer faces any difficulty in filling out the form, the concerned personnel at the Horticulture Mobile team Centre are responsible for assisting him. The centre then forwards the farmer's proposal to the district level, and from there to the Directorate. Once the Directorate approves the proposal, a government order is issued, and the districts receive the approval/work order accordingly.
  • After approval, the district officer sends an acceptance letter to the farmer and also informs them over the phone. The farmer can then purchase fruit saplings, seeds, or medicines from the Horticulture Mobile team Centre at a 50% subsidy.
  • In the case of Refrigerator Vans and Cool Houses, the subsidy is provided only after the farmer purchases the van or constructs the Cool House, following a site inspection by departmental officials. Beneficiaries under the scheme are selected on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to the availability of the budget.
