Mukhyamantri Bhavishyalakshi Kaushalya Vikas Yojana

The scheme "Mukhyamantri Bhavishyalakshi Kaushalya Vikas Yojana (MBKVY)" by the Labour, Skill Development and Employment Department, Government of Gujarat, aims to provide skill development training to youth in manufacturing, service and other sectors through new age technology-based courses to meet current industry requirements and create skilled manpower in the state. The scheme provides short-term courses, digital training, future skill courses and new age courses with quality training according to current technology, along with practical training as per the latest technology requirements. The applicant must be a domicile of Gujarat state and must have passed at least Standard 10/12/Industrial Training Institute/Degree-Diploma. The scheme is implemented by Gujarat Skill Development Mission under the guidance of Steering Committee and Implementation and Monitoring Committee. The applications for this scheme are accepted online through skills.gujarat.gov.in portal.

Training Cost Coverage: Training cost will be directly paid to the Training Provider's bank account based on Common Skilling Norms for National Skill Qualification Framework courses.
Assessment Fee Coverage: Assessment fee for National Skill Qualification Framework courses will be paid to the concerned Assessment Agency as per set standards.
Industry-Demand Based Course Fees: For new courses based on industry demand, training cost will be paid to training centers as determined by the Steering Committee.
Special Course Fees: For special types of courses conducted by Skill Institutes/Industrial Training Institutes/Kaushalya The Skill University, training cost and method will be as approved by the Steering Committee.
Infrastructure Support: Raw material, guest faculty, Training of Trainers, tools equipment, office expenses etc. will be covered under training cost for Industrial Training Institutes.
Certification: Certification will be provided through concerned Sector Skill Councils/Gujarat Council for Vocational Training/Kaushalya The Skill University.

Payment Milestones (as reviewed by Mission Director, Gujarat Skill Development Mission)

• 30%: After commencement of training batch against valid candidates.
• 40%: After certification of trainees (with respect to passed out trainees).
• 30%: Based on placement results (final payment as per Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana guidelines).

• The trainees must be a domicile of Gujarat.
• The trainees must have passed at least 10th Standard / 12th Standard / Industrial Training Institute / Degree-Diploma.
• Trainees must be registered on the portal with Aadhaar number submission by Training Provider.
• Training must be conducted only through trainers as per course guidelines and syllabus.
• On Job Training must be made mandatory as per course requirements, with On Job Training/soft skills to be covered for others.
• The Training Centers must carry branding of the MBKVY scheme.

*Monitoring will be portal-based and payments will be made based on portal data only.
*For National Skill Qualification Framework courses, assessment and certification will be done through concerned Sector Skill Councils/Gujarat Council for Vocational Training/Kaushalya The Skill University.
*For new courses based on industry demand, assessment will be conducted as per standards set by Gujarat Council for Vocational Training or Kaushalya The Skill University, with certification provided through Gujarat Council for Vocational Training and Kaushalya The Skill University.

Registration Process

Step 1: Visit the official website of Gujarat Skill Development Mission (GSDM). At the top right corner, click "Register". You will be taken to the registration page.
Step 2: On the Registration Page, fill in all the mandatory fields: User group, Name of SPOC, Email Address, Mobile Number. If prompted, verify your Email ID and Mobile Number via OTP. Provide the Captcha Code and click "Register".

Application Process

Step 1: Visit the official website of Gujarat Skill Development Mission (GSDM). At the top right corner, click "Login". Login using your credentials created during the Registration Process.
Step 2: To obtain center accreditation and affiliation for providing training, navigate to the online application form of the scheme. In the form, fill in all the mandatory fields and upload all the mandatory documents in the specified format and size.
Step 3: Carefully review all the information provided and the documents uploaded. Make any necessary corrections. Finally, submit your application. You'll receive a confirmation message.
