Details

The Mukhyamantri Bhagyalakshmi Bond Scheme has been implemented with the objective of 'Dikri Vadhavo Dochti Bhanao' to prevent female feticide and to meet the expenses of education and marriage of the daughters of construction workers. A bond of Rs. 25,000 is issued for a period of 18 years in the name of a daughter of a construction worker registered with the Gujarat Building and Other Construction Labor Welfare Board. The amount can be withdrawn by the daughter after completing 18 years of age.
