Details

The Mukhya Mantri Laghu Udyog Protsahan Yojana (MLUPY) is a scheme initiated to facilitate the easy establishment of enterprises and provide new employment opportunities to individuals from all sections of the state through interest subsidy loans available via banks. The implementation period of the scheme is from December 17, 2019, to March 31, 2024. Loans are provided for manufacturing, service, and trade-based enterprises through various financial institutions, including nationalized commercial banks, private scheduled banks authorized by the Reserve Bank of India, small finance banks, regional rural banks, Rajasthan Financial Corporation, and SIDBI. Both new and existing enterprises that are expanding, diversifying, or modernizing are eligible for benefits under this scheme.

Benefits

  • - Interest subsidy on loans provided by banks for five years:
  • 8% for loans up to ₹25lakh 6% for loans from ₹25lakh to ₹5crore 5% for loans from ₹5crore to ₹10crore
  • Special provisions for weavers and artisans with loans up to ₹1lakh and ₹3lakh respectively
  • Interest subsidy on loans provided by banks for five years:
    • 8% for loans up to ₹25 lakh
    • 6% for loans from ₹25 lakh to ₹5 crore
    • 5% for loans from ₹5 crore to ₹10 crore
  • Special provisions for weavers and artisans with loans up to ₹1 lakh and ₹3 lakh respectively.

Eligibility

  1. Individual applicants must be at least 18 years old.
  2. Institutional applicants (self-help groups, societies, partnership firms, LLPs, companies) are also eligible.
  3. The enterprise must be established in the state of Rajasthan.

Exclusions

Applicants whose family members have received capital or interest grants from any government scheme in the last 5 years, or who are defaulters of any financial institution/bank are not eligible. Family refers to husband, wife, and minor children.

Application Process

Online

Applications must be submitted online through the Citizen App available at SSO Rajasthan. Loan applications up to ₹10 lakh can be forwarded directly to banks without an interview, while applications above ₹10 lakh will be forwarded after scrutiny by the District Level Task Force Committee.
