To make agriculture profitable, it has become essential to not only focus on increasing agricultural production and productivity but also to enhance the quality of crops produced in the future to obtain good prices. The Rajasthan government, along with the agriculture and related departments, is continuously striving for this. This scheme has been proposed to enhance farmers' knowledge and capabilities by directly discussing agricultural techniques and tools developed by various countries with farmers from those countries, as well as through regional visits and related tours. The delegation going abroad will include a nodal officer appointed by the Agriculture Marketing Department and 25 farmers.

Eligibility

Farmers who are interested in going abroad for study must be farmers themselves. The maximum age limit is 65 years. The grant provided for the foreign study tour will be valid only for the duration of the tour. All members included in the study tour must travel with the group as per the program set by the department and must return to their home country after the tour. After this period, staying abroad for any reason will not be valid.
