Details

The "Motorized Tricycle Yojana" is a scheme implemented by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of Rajasthan. Under this scheme, motorized tricycles are provided to eligible applicants for purposes such as self-employment and pursuing higher education from Senior Higher Secondary onwards. To be eligible for the scheme, the applicant must be a resident of Rajasthan, a specially-abled person with 50% or more locomotor disability, and possess driving experience along with a valid driving license.

Eligibility

  1. The applicant must be a native of Rajasthan.
  2. The applicant should be self-employed or a student pursuing senior higher secondary education.
  3. The applicant must have a 50% or more locomotor disability.
  4. The annual family (parents/guardians including applicant's income, if any) income should not exceed ₹2,50,000/-.
  5. The applicant's age must be 18 years or older.
  6. The applicant must have prior experience in operating a vehicle and hold a valid driving license.

Application Process

Offline

Step 1: The interested applicant should visit the office of the District Social Justice & Empowerment Department and request a copy of the application form from the staff exclusively entrusted to issue and collect filled-in applications.
Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).
Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents to the District Social Justice & Empowerment Department.
Step 4: Request a receipt or acknowledgment from the District Social Justice & Empowerment Department to whom the application has been submitted. Ensure that the receipt contains essential details such as the date and time of submission and a unique identification number (if applicable).
