The “Motor Vehicle Driver-Conductor Welfare Scheme- Marriage Assistance” scheme has been launched by the Transport Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance for the marriage of daughters of registered transport vehicle drivers and conductors belonging to the unorganized sector to reduce the financial burden on low-income families.

Benefits

  • 1. Financial assistance for the marriage of daughters of registered transport vehicle drivers or conductors. 1. Assistance is provided as per the prevailing rates and conditions of the "Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana"
  • Under this scheme, the following assistance is provided:
  • Each eligible bride (including girls, widows, or abandoned women) participating in the mass marriage ceremony will receive a total of ₹49,000/- through an Account Payee Cheque, on the day of the mass marriage ceremony.The organizing body that conducts the mass marriage ceremony will receive ₹6,000/- per beneficiary. NOTE:
  • A total of ₹55,000/- is provided per beneficiary under the scheme
  • The monetary amount is as notified by the Social Justice Department under the Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana and may change from time to time

Eligibility

  1. The applicant should be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh.
  2. The applicant should be a registered transport vehicle driver or conductor.
  3. The applicant should possess a valid commercial driving license or conductor's license issued in Madhya Pradesh.
  4. The applicant’s name should be registered on the Samagra Portal.
  5. The applicant’s daughter should be unmarried at the time of application.
  6. The marriage should be conducted as per the conditions of the Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana.
  7. The applicant should not be a government employee.

Application Process

Offline

Samagra ID Registration Process:

Step 1: Visit the official website: samagra.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on the option “Register Family” or “Register Member”.
Step 3: Enter the Aadhaar number and other required information.
Step 4: Enter the OTP received on the registered mobile number.
Step 5: Carefully fill in all the required details and upload the necessary documents.
Step 6: Enter the captcha code and click on “Submit Application.”

Offline Samagra ID Registration Process:

Step 1: Visit the nearest Lok Seva Kendra, MP Online Kiosk, or Common Service Center (CSC).
Step 2: Provide the required documents and necessary information to complete the registration process.

After Samagra Registration:

Step 1: The interested applicant downloads the application form (Page No. 9) from the official website.
Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).
Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents to the District or Regional Transport Office.
