The MODEL RESOURCE ROOM scheme aims to provide necessary educational and therapeutic support to children with special needs studying in grades 1 to 12 in government schools across the state. Under the inclusive education program, a resource room is established in each block to facilitate the development of these children's inherent capabilities. The resource room maintains records of all identified children with special needs, determines therapeutic support with the help of experts, prepares a monthly calendar for support activities, and ensures the maintenance and functionality of the equipment used.
