Details

According to Section 3 of the Rajasthan Mandatory Registration of Marriages Act, 2009, registration of every marriage solemnized between individuals who are citizens of India in the state of Rajasthan is mandatory. As per Section 8 of the Act, the parents or legal guardians of the parties, or the groom or bride themselves, are responsible for presenting a memorandum to the registrar within whose jurisdiction the marriage was solemnized or where either party resides after the marriage.
