Details

The Marriage Assistance To Disabled scheme provides financial support to disabled individuals who are getting married. A total of Rs. 100,000 is provided when two disabled individuals marry each other, with Rs. 50,000 given to each person. If a disabled person marries a non-disabled person, the disabled individual receives Rs. 50,000. The scheme aims to promote the welfare of disabled individuals by supporting their marital aspirations.

Eligibility

The scheme is applicable to physically disabled individuals with more than 50% disability. Age criteria: for girls, 18 years and above; for boys, 21 years and above.
