The Manav Garima Yojna provides various business tool kits to help individuals from socially and educationally backward classes, economically backward classes, minority castes, nomadic, and freed caste communities to live with dignity and achieve financial self-sufficiency through self-employment. The annual income limit for applicants is set at Rs. 6.00 lakhs, although this limit has been removed for Nomadic and Denotified Castes among the SEBC categories.
