The Mahila Suraksha evam Salah Kendra Niyaman evam Anudan Yojna provides social and legal counseling to women affected by violence. Women’s Safety and Counseling Centers are operated through selected non-governmental organizations in various police districts and police circles of the state. The objective of the scheme is to provide appropriate guidance and support to women distressed or affected by violence at the social and family level, helping them to protect themselves from violence.
