The scheme “Low Altitude Guide Course” is implemented by the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board under the Department of Tourism, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to train and certify youth from Uttarakhand as professional low altitude guides and provide them with skill development opportunities to strengthen their role in the state’s tourism sector.

Eligibility
- The applicant must be a youth from Uttarakhand.
- The applicant will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Application Process
Offline
- Applicants must complete the prescribed application form and submit it along with the required documents to the office of the District Tourism Development Officer.
- Upon completion of the tests, the District Tourism Development Officer will forward the list of shortlisted candidates to the headquarters.
- Final selection of participants will be made by a committee constituted at the headquarters.
